The CCM Jetspeed Vibe JR Hockey Shin Guards were specifically designed for Source for Sports to bring recreational level youth players the best features and value to hit the ice with confidence. The Vibe combines features from the FT475 and FT485 models. Upgraded side knee protection and an upgraded shin cap are features taken from the FT485.
The Vibe features a new anatomical narrow fit design that provides a connected fit for a lightweight design suited for recreational junior players.
Shin Protection
Featuring the new anatomical narrow fitting design the Vibe provides a connected, close to the leg fit. The synthetic leather bumper from the FT485 model has been added to the bottom of the shin cap to provide additional protection and reduce skate abrasion.
Knee Cap & Protection
The JDP Kneecap/shincap flex point offers more freedom of movement, plus JDP (Joint Dispersing Protection) construction helps disperse force away from the skater’s knee joint. An upgraded side knee protector from the FT485 has been added to provide extra protection and value.
Calf Protection
The calf protection of the FT475 combines light-density foam with plastic inserts. It wraps comfortably and offers a good level of protection.
Liner
The Vibe features a moisture wicking removable liner with a segmented knee area that helps to lock the knee in nicely. Comfortable and featuring a nice level of protection, this liner is also easy to wash to keep fresh.
Strapping
A nylon upper lock strap and wide elastic calf strap allow for easy adjustment while providing a secure fit.
